As spring gives way to longer days and warmer nights, the town comes alive with live music, local events, mountain views, and plenty of reasons to stay out a little later than planned. Whether you’re looking for a full day of activities or simply an excuse to get outside and explore, Estes Park delivers.

Here are a few of our favorite ways to make the most of the season.

Tuesday Night Live at Lake Estes Marina

Few things feel more like summer in Estes Park than an evening of live music by the water. The Tuesday Night Live Concert Series at Lake Estes Marina brings together local music, mountain views, food trucks, and a relaxed atmosphere that’s perfect for visitors and locals alike.

Full Throttle Distillery is proud to be part of the series this year with a tasting table featuring samples of our spirits. Stop by, say hello, and enjoy a taste of Full Throttle while you take in the show.

Don’t Miss the Rooftop Rodeo

One of Estes Park’s biggest summer traditions returns July 6–11 with the Rooftop Rodeo. From professional rodeo events to family-friendly entertainment, it’s a classic Colorado experience set against the backdrop of the Rocky Mountains.

Ticket prices vary, with special pricing available for children, seniors, military members, and select community nights.

Be sure to stop by the Full Throttle Distillery vendor tent while you’re there. We’ll be serving samples, offering retail items and coupons, and sharing a taste of what makes Full Throttle a favorite stop in Estes Park.

Take Advantage of Locals Night at Full Throttle

Looking for a reason to get out on a Tuesday? Full Throttle’s Locals Night is one of the best deals in town.

Every Tuesday from 4 PM until close, enjoy:

  • $3 Drafts & Shiner Drinks
  • $5 Appetizer Specials

The appetizer lineup rotates throughout the month, so there’s always something new to try. Past specials have included favorites like burnt-end rangoon, sticky pork belly, Carolina Twinkies, smoked wings, and more.

Whether you’re meeting up with friends after work or just looking for an affordable night out, Locals Night is an easy way to enjoy great food, cold drinks, and a little extra savings.

Explore Town with the Community Passport Program

Looking for an excuse to discover a few new favorite spots around town? This summer, the Estes Park Community Support Group is introducing a Community Passport Program designed to encourage exchange visitors and participants to explore local businesses throughout Estes Park.

Participants can visit featured businesses, collect passport stamps, and enjoy special offers along the way. It’s a great way to experience more of what the Estes Park community has to offer while supporting local businesses.

Full Throttle Distillery and Estes Park Distilling Co. are proud to be participating, offering 10% off food and retail purchases for passport holders. So if you happen to come across a Community Passport this summer, be sure to add us to your list of stops.

Enjoy the Simple Things

Not every great summer day in Estes Park needs a packed itinerary. Sometimes the best experiences are the simplest ones.

Take a walk around the Lake Estes Trail, a scenic loop that offers beautiful mountain views, wildlife sightings, and plenty of places to stop and take it all in. If you’re looking for a quiet lunch spot, pack a picnic and head to Knoll-Willows Open Space, a local favorite with open views and plenty of room to spread out.

As the sun goes down, consider a visit to the Estes Park Memorial Observatory. Admission is donation-based, and on clear nights you’ll have the chance to view planets, star clusters, and distant galaxies through powerful telescopes.

If you’d rather stay behind the wheel, spend an afternoon exploring the Peak to Peak Scenic Byway, one of Colorado’s most beautiful drives and a perfect way to experience the mountains at your own pace.

Summer doesn’t last forever, so make the most of it. Catch the concert, take the drive, try something new, and stay out a little later than planned. We’ll be here when you need a cold drink, a good meal, and a place to swap stories from the day.
